We have officially stepped into 2008.Cathleen and i are assigned as the new moderators so i have changed the posts and names:D Cathleen will be changing the layout soon i guess,she'll probably design it herself:D haha.the new sec ones will be in next week and i think we'll be announcing the ld blog(and friendster?facebook?)username and password then.so yeah,all ld members are welcome to blog! hopefully ld seniors who have graduated will be blogging too:D
ok.the rules and regulations will be up next week and to all,have fantastic days ahead:D

This is my first time posting here. Haha.
Anyways, LD camp was a blast man!Thank you to all those who helped and/or prepared for this wonderful LD camp! :D:D And not forgetting everyone who came, cause we played a part too! (:
Congrats to the winners of the 'Triwizard Tournaments'! :D:D

Anyway, thank you all for the beautiful memories that I have of ELDDS, cliche as it sounds, it'll stay in my heart and I'm sure the rest of the seniors forever :)

OH MY GOODNESS I CAN FINALLY LOG IN TO THIS ACCOUNT AFTER A GAZILLION YEARS. (glares very hard at julia)
The Sec 4s just had their last debate competition at the JGs/last drama performance not too long ago.
To me, the Jubilate IV performance was bittersweet. Although that was really our best show EVER (pretty ironic that Roger didn't turn up huh), it felt a tad melancholic because that was our final time onstage with the juniors, with each other, as SNLD 07. For some of us, it might even be our absolute last performance on a theatre stage ever.
Just 6 weeks ago, Sarah and Alyssa and I were chatting animatedly in class and suddenly i exclaimed, "OMG we're stepping down in 8 weeks!" They told me to shut up, of course, and not think so much about it. It seems surreal that the Red Badge will be stepping down in two weeks' time.
It's freaky to witness for ourselves how fast time flies.
If i had to start secondary school life in SN all over again, i will definitely choose ELDDS as my CCA, no matter what. This CCA has been the BEST THING that ever happened to me. I've shared 4 years of my life with these people, in LD, and it really hurts to let go.
I'm pretty sure that all the Sec 4s are feeling as nostalgic as I am. After all, we love you LD, deep down in our hearts. :)
We've got some pictures which we'll upload pretty soon, sometime during the week. Please, feel free to use them as your wallpaper or display picture. Just don't use them to do something that'll freak us out. (winks)

Eldds, great job for Jubilate IV :)
Behind the curtains were not only nervous and anxious people. Behind the curtains was a hell lot of effort and sweat put into this play. From where we came from with our sucky theme given by Roger, this's good. I'm so proud of everyone, the crew, the cast, our Asst. Director. Our teachers etc. Hearing the applause after Nat says, "Smile," was heart warming.
Syf, we didn't get Gold with Honours, but I don't think that matters so much anymore. We've just proved to 900 odd people that Eldds is the best CCA ever and it's our spirit that counts.
We're Ld, we're unbelievable.
I love all of you very much and I'm going to miss every second I've spent in Ld. From Secondary 1 up to being the eldest in the school, one of the best things is that I'm in ELDDS.

Hello all, thank you for being far too kind- praising my work of art (I'm referring the the blog design) repeatedly over and over again. I think my head's swelling up! And please tell me when we all are tired of this layout alright, I'll think up a new one or something.
Welcome Secondary 1s, it's good to have you in the Ld family. Just to let you know, it's a major privilege so please appreciate and enjoy your time to the fullest in Ld! Honestly speaking, I did have a regret in Secondary 1 because I wanted to be in netball. But after these few years of bonding and learning so many new skills and undertaking so many responsibilites, I've realised that Eldds can only be the best CCA in the world.
Why do I say this? I say this because Eldds not only builds your confidence (I'm sure I was a timid girl when I was younger), Ld gives you so many leadership opportunities. Ld allows you to broadcast your multi-talents (singing, dancing, web-designing in my case!), Ld improves your English (speaking and writing) and Literary skills, Ld portrays what the word "spirit" means.
Through these years and well-spent time in this particularly rocking CCA, I've learnt that to have the right 'spirit' is the key to embracing life. And if you're wondering what I mean, when you (referring to the Secondary 1s) shout out loud with us, saying the Ld cheer out loud, you'll realise what I mean by possessing this unbreakable bond and unbelievable spirit- this sense of joy and pride that "Yes, I AM FROM ELDDS."
