Hello everyone, Xinyi (your magnificent, marvelous and magical moderator) here.

Three weeks into the new year, and preparation for various competitions (for the debate AND drama wings) are already in full-swing.

Just thinking about my to-do list makes me feel burnt out already. Everyone in the red badge will definitely agree with me.

Anyway, the Secondary Ones are coming in tomorrow for their very first LD session. I feel so nostalgic (and old), just thinking about it! Then again, I can hardly remember what I did during the first session, because I was so frightened and intimidated by everyone else (I can't believe how innocent I was back then!).

To my lovely juniors-
(I know the whole idea of intimidating them seems really tempting and fun, but honestly, we should come off as friendly, apporachable and warm seniors. After all, it's only their first day in LD. Learn to love them, like how we loved you when you first came in. )

We will introduce the 5 golden rules to blogging (at the LD Blog.) The reporting time for CCA is 3pm (at the MPR2). At this juncture, I must reiterate that ANYONE who turns up LATE (without a valid reason) or does not wear the LD shirt will be fined by the Committee members. Also, you'll be missing the Welcome party if you're late so it's really your loss if you choose not to turn up :)

One last reminder, people who need to claim money from the LD Fund- please bring the relevant receipts tomorrow.
